Other shops told me that I needed a new transfer case for my BMW X5. I was quoted thousands of dollars. Lone Star Bavarian said all that need to be done was to change the transfer case fluid and reset. They were right! They saved me a small fortune.Thank you again.

I have been taking my cars to Lone Star Bavarian since 2004. They are honest, very knowledgeable and their technicians are experienced and well trained. I try to do most of the work on my cars myself, but when I can't (no time, too hot in garage or beyond my abilities), I trust LSB to do the job right.

Trent and his team are great! I've got a high mileage BMW so I know there's going to be things that need to be fixed. Anytime I get into a situation that I can't do myself, I go to Lone Star and they always take great care of me and my car.

Needed urgent alternator replacement for 2011 328i.Alternator/belts/pulleys replaced along with brake flush and complimentary wash/interior detailing completed the next day after vehicle was dropped off. Car runs perfectly. Customer service was good. Staff are proud to work there and are transparent about other recommendations. Work is warrantied for 2 years. Shop is very experienced…. I will certainly come back when needed.Thanks Trent for the good work. Glad to support your business.

I was in town visiting family for Christmas when my diesel X5 went into limp mode/de-rated and needed emergency repairs. I live about 600 miles away, and HAD to return home before the New Year. I know that not everyone, including some BMW and German car specialists, are really comfortable or familiar with working on diesels, and it's hard to trust mechanic shops when you have a less common engine. Trent and the guys at Bavarian were able to quickly diagnose and perform all the repairs necessary to clear my engine codes and get my car back to running again. When I left the shop, I felt I heard an unusual whine still coming from my car, but was assured that my engine and turbo were performing properly and I didn't need to worry. Sure enough, within 30 minutes of leaving a warning indicator came on, and I immediately called back to the shop. Trent was able to diagnose the problem over the phone as I was still driving, and said he'd stay open and wait for me (it was evening and I called right before close). He promised to have it fixed the next morning as soon as they reopened. My alternator had just gone bad, and they had it replaced and got me back on the road as promised by lunch the next day. I have had some really bad experiences with mechanics working on diesels, including having an actual BMW dealership (BMW Permian Basin, Midland) tell me they had never worked on a car like mine before. That is NOT comforting to hear. I feel so lucky to have been taken care of by Lonestar Bavarian, and never once questioned their competency or knowledge necessary to easily take care of my diesel car. If I could give ten stars, I would. They saved me in a bind with an out of town breakdown, saved me with a secondary alternator failure issue, and were priced very fairly for the quality of service received. I absolutely trust these guys, and that's not something easy to say. Highly recommend.
